I use FP2000 to manage a couple websites. One is a non-profit group that has

members spread around the country. They would like to add a search function

based on zip code, to allow members to locate other members within xx miles.

It seems to be a common search function used by corporate websites with

national store locations.

I've had a little experience with FP's built-in search function, as well as

with cgi scripting for searching simple databases, but I don't have a clue

how to go about relating distance to a comparison of two zip codes. Is this

type of information available somewhere? Any advice on how to get started is

very much appreciated. Thanks,

Oscar
